... an Arsenal, Inc. SLR-101SG1, to be exact. Pic from Arsenal, Inc.'s site here. Yes, another impulse buy.
Neato features:
--Made in Bulgaria
--American made green polymer furniture
--Milled receiver
--Double hook trigger
--Scope rail on the receiver
It has BY FAR the best fit and finish I've ever seen on an AK. Comparing one of the Century Romanian hack jobs to this rifle is like comparing a Yugo to a Caddy.
It came with only a single 5 round Bulgarian polymer "waffle" mag but WTH, I have a ton of AK mags. Aside from the mag it came with a sling, oil bottle, cleaning kit, cleaning rod, and a nice manual which was signed by the QC inspectors.
My Hesse/Saiga is going to go, I think. It runs good since I replaced the FCG but the SLR is NICE. I'm going to see if I can swap the Saiga to an electrician friend in exchange for some work around the house.
I'm going to try to get it to the range on Sunday. Report to follow.
