The wife and I were out pawnshopping today seeing what we didn't need but couldn't live without.
I was trying to think of a spiffy way to tell the story and make it interesting. I'm not real good at that. :banghead:
So, at one pawnshop I found a WASR 10 in great shape, around 90-95%. CAI Import. It had a sticker of 269, something in the back of my head told me I needed to look it up before buying it because I remembered reading something about the WASR's and couldn't remember if it was good or bad.
So I came home and searched a lot of old posts, made a couple of phone calls and headed back up there. I ended up, out the door for 220.
It was all thanks to the wife, and according to her this is my Christmas present. Granted, I thought the RIA 1911 still on layaway was the present, but I guess I get two this year.
No pics yet, but it's a light stained stock, 30rd mag, and green weave sling.
