Went shooting today. One of my goals was to make sure my rifle that I am taking javelina hunting next month is still zero'd. I took four shots at 100 yards and shot a one inch group. I was done with that rifle after that. The range wasn't allowing shooting at 200 yards because it poured rain here yesterday and the range was muddy. But needless to say, the javelina's better be shakin' in their boots.
 
Javelena recipe; Deep pit for three full days, eat the rocks and throw the meat away.

That's if you don't gag too much field dressing the nasty smelling devils.

We put it in the slow cooker and made tacos out of the last one that I got. It was pretty good.
 
gbran - I thought that myself until my buddy made some chorizo from the one he got last year. And then his wife made chili. Enough to make me re-think my attitude about hunting the little guys.
