This Grandpa remembers 50 cent 22 shells, always a few under the tree at Christmas.
You could go to the local Mom & Pop and there was always a new Model 94/30-30 hanging behind the cash register with $50 price on it.
He also sold any high brass shot shell (any gague) you wanted to purchase for 15 cents each.
You could go to the nearest small city and purchase #3 Victor Jump traps for under $1. #1 jump traps were $6 a dozen.
Kids were never in trouble, they were too busy!!
