Several years ago when I first started reloading I know I had load data for 9mm using Green Dot. I can't find any current Green Dot pistol data, does anyone have data, also if there are any 45ACP and 45LC loads I'd appreciate it. I bought 2lbs. and won't use it all on shotguns. Thanks for the help.

I used it for 9mm. Had to go out and look it up in my notes because its been a while. I was shooting a 125gr lead cone bullet [Missouri] and my load was 4.2gr and it seemed to shoot well but its been a while and I've used so many powders since then. Green Dot was designed to be a shotgun powder and if I remember correctly its kind of flaky and coarse. I think it measured better than Red Dot but that is not saying much.
Accuracy is always important to me and I work up from the bottom. When the accuracy is there and the gun is reliable as far as cycling and the slide staying open after the last shot is where I usually stop.
As a side note I looked Green Dot up on a burn rate chart and it falls between 231 and Universal which are my two favorite powders. Green dot seemed slower towards the Unique speed though. I haven't seen it on a shelf at any store and I probably would not buy it if something that measured better were available.
You didn't say what bullet you wanted to shoot. Others may chime in.
