Grip reduction on Glock

Have any of you had grip reduction work on a Glock? I'd like to get a reduction on my Glock 20 and I was wondering what people who've had it done think about it. My model 17 fits my hand fine but the 20 is a little long for my short fingers.

Who does this alteration? Who would you recommend I talk to about it?

The best looking grip work IMO is done by Bowie Tactical. There is also another place that does very similar.....almost too similar work known as Boom Boom Tactical. There are a few others as well. Google those two as well as google for glock gunsmithing. There's also a company (CCF raceframes?) that sells custom metal frames for the glock and Lone Wolf is already or will be soon selling custom polymer frames. You just swap your internals.

I sent mine off to Robar last week. This is my first time using them but I have seen their work on someone else's guns and it's nice. I'm not getting a full reduction, just finger groove removal and high grip modification along with texturizing. Check their "specials" page if you are ready to ship soon.

I was told for the Glock 20, they will be coming out with the SF model, to decrease the size of the grip. I'm waiting for that to come out before buying a Glock 20. I have long, "piano fingers" and i felt the grip on the G20 was too fat for my liking.

I had the grip reduction for my G27 done by Cylinder & Slide. Bill and is his team did a great job!

I had the grips on my G23 and G27 reduced, finger groves removed at Bowie Tactical Concepts. I love the work. The only problem was then that I cherrished them too much after that to carry as duty sidearms.
