gun belt question

I just ordered 2 of the Amish Belts from Hanks (one for me, one for Dad). Even if they aren't 100% the best holster belts in the world for the price of a belt at Walmart or TSC it looks to be worth a try. Will post a review when it comes in.

i have heard nothing but great things about the ares ranger belt. alot of people in the training industry use them. I have one on order so i will let you all know when i get mine and find out how they are.

Another vote for A&G Custom Leather. Very stiff and excellent craftsmanship. Is perfectly at home at the range or at the office. A lot of folks like the Wilderness belts, but IMO they aren't as stiff as a nice double layer leather belt. I do like the adjustability, though, and for only $40 it's not breaking the bank to buy both. Considering the leather belt will probably last longer than your waistline it really is a wise investment.

Well my Beltman belt just arrived today (I chose one of the "quick ship" belts).

I'm impressed. I've been fighting the idea of spending serious coin on a dedicated gun belt for a long time ... I wasted a lot of time and money on crap belts.

Currently packing a full size CZ75B SA in .40 in an IWB holster and frankly it carries better than my light weight Steyr S40 carried on the old cheap belt. The Steyr just disappears with the Beltman belt.

Shoulda coughed up the dough years ago.

That's what I've been trying to tell people!
Keep that belt halfway clean and give it a coating of the Obenauf's you can get from the BeltMan** maybe twice a year and you'll have a good-looking belt AND a good gunbelt.

**(free shipping last time I checked, and the best price I could find per ounce for the stuff)
