Gun Buy Back event in Md. Why am I not suprised?

You know, we had a gun buyback in Seattle a few weeks ago. While I was unable to attend, I've been told that it was epic. Dealers and collectors assembled beside the line with signs that read, "I WILL PAY MORE THAN THE COPS," and they meant it. It was a free for all, and this is a very liberal city. They've never made me more proud. I'm still angry that I wasn't there.

If they go ahead with this, remember to pay fair prices to people who don't know what they're selling. Good karma comes back around.

After what happened in Seattle, this will not turn out in the politician's favor. The stage has been set and private buyers, as well as dealers will be there to make some great deals, while giving people more money for their guns than the cops will.

Unfortunately because of the already restrictive laws in Maryland I doubt the people turning in guns would bother to do a private transfer even for the money. Most people don’t know the gun laws, the govt has them scared they would do something wrong, and they just want to ditch the evil guns with minds of their own

but if licensed FFL holders show up that isnt a private sale. Yeah a FFL probably wont do a No Questions Asked transfer but if we can save just one gun :)
