I simply don't agree with you.
Already we forget about the lessons of Mogadishu.
Mogadishu is a perfect example because it demonstrates that third party intervention is not always the best idea, as opposed to what you believe, and that armed people (not military) can do great harm when the will is great-- as opposed to what you believe.
Can you imagine what the Sudanese could do with AK-47s or even Enfields, with just a little training?
