some Krieghoff dealers do the financing thing....but only if you are interested in spending $10k on a sporting shotgun;)

This has to be one of the dumdest idea's i have ever heard of. You just don't finance toys and recreational stuff. Thats whats wrong with america. Save your money and when you have enough ,buy what you want. Best shooter in florida for sporting clays about 11 years back was a bird hunter/guide with a old winchester model 10 with a cutts comp on it. He caught lots of good natured flack from all the high dollar gun guys till he out shot them and won the state chamipionships 2 years in a row and then quit. Financing crap that should never be is whats wrong with america now.

Toys and recreational stuff shouldn't be financed????

Boats and RV's have always been financed and they cost significantly more.

The repo man might have a helluva time trying to get them back for non payment though.

so this guy shot a sporting clays tournament with a winchester model 10?? I didn't know you could shoot sporting clays with a rifle. I call b.s. on your post.

Some years back there were several banks that were giving away Weartherby firearms to investors that locked in funds for long term CDs or some such. I know two people that did it. It was for the serious money people, $10,000.00 or better for rather long terms.

cant imagine actually going to someone to finance a gun.. First, if you can save for it, that is the best way to go. Second, if you need it that bad, sell something to get it. third, it you still need it and cannot afford it, pull out the credit card.

Unless it is a once in a lifetime gun that is worth many thousands of dollars that you are getting REALATIVELY cheap (not so many thousands of dollars) I would never fathom taking a loan to get a gun.

Exactly.
You don't finance recreation, consumer goods, or anything you can avoid. If you can't save and purchase an occasional firearm, you need to budget better or downsize your hobby. Self defense on a budget isn't impossible, if you can actually follow a budget and have some patience.

I know this post is a year old but I have to make this observation: the OP asked if there were other options for gun financing besides Bud's. The OP did NOT ask anyones opinion of gun financing. I'm not saying any of the opinions about gun financing are invalid, merely that they are irrelevant with regard to the OP.

Thread necromancy without any added beneficial information.

As pointed out, the parties involved have moved on.
