Hello,

I was wondering if anyone would be able to give me some history on this gun. it's a .410 ga. The gentlemen said he bought it about 30 years or so ago.

What would be the approximate value of this gun?

Would this be a california legal gun. The barrel is 18 inches but What about the grip type?

these are not the droids you are looking for, there were never any pictures here.

I don't anything about the history or value of the shotgun.

However, in order to be legal in CA, the overall length of the shotgun needs to be greater than 26 inches {CA Penal Code 12020(c)(1)}.
Otherwise, it is considered to be a short barrel shotgun and a felony to possess.

Looks like it's been sawn off at both ends. Illegal unless you have the destructive device paperwork and tax stamp.

I'd lose it or find a full stock pronto.

I'd destroy it or make it legal (if possible). In the meantime, I'd also delete your pics and post about it too, if I were you...before you get yourself in trouble. It's hardly a gun that's worth getting in trouble over, much as I hate laws like that...

You have a sawed off shotgun, or rather a sawed off pistol shotgun made from a old H&R Topper. Value maybe about 25 dollars for parts. Calif legal, I don't thing so. If the over all length is not 26 inches, then it's not legal anywhere. And to be honest it's not worth 200 dollars to make it legal.
