He added that there is “pretty wide consensus on three or four or five things in the gun safety area that could and should be done.”

Biden is expected to report his task force's findings on gun violence to Obama by month's end.

Before then, he'll meet with groups such as Walmart to discuss the issue.

It's not all that funny that they are using Walmart as a launching point for their gun ban, Trying to hit Gun Owners in the pocketbook... If someone said BOYCOTT WALMART, Would You? Or would you fall into the, "oh, I'm just going in to buy one thing..." I say, NO!! Give them NO MONEY....

This is why we as a People WOULD fail... Because Americans of this day and age are NOT Strong Enough to Stand Unified Against Corporations such as Walmart. We are too caught up in our iphones, and blackberrys and having the latest and greatest to wonder or think about the REAL IMPACT we make.

Make a commitment to your rights... This is why big box stores and big business Laugh at the people, why they scoff at a boycott, because these actions mean little to the people... we think someone else will take care of us, it is time for US to Take Care of Us, to Take Care of OUR NATION!!

It's is NOT an US and Them when it comes to government, THE ELECTED OFFICIALS WORK FOR US!! "WE THE PEOPLE" Is what our constitution says We are to tell them what Our Needs are not for them to dictate "what is best" for us....

They make it an issue of finance to take our guns and gun rights, then hit them back where it hurts. Who says Walmart has authority to help decide our rights?

Pull Walmart out from under their turned up noses and boycott walmart and any other corporation that would join with a government willing to take away your rights!!

I heard today that Wal-Mart has said no to discussions for now.

St. Louis CBS affiliate 12:00 news......

I try to avoid Walmart like the plague today. But any action against gun owners will have me not going at all and telling friends/family that we will not accept gifts from walmart.

Agree on not supporting businesses that go along with new gun restrictions. However, Walmart has not done or said anything other than they will attend the meeting, just like NRA. Let their actions indicate our response, not hear say.
Walmart sells lots of guns and lots of ammo, so they have done lots for us to keep the price of things down.

wal=mart gets my business until they side against me and mine.

Sounds like jumping the trigger based on a bit of news that has not even said WallyWorld is in collusion with, or even planning to cooperate with, the Commission.

INSTEAD the summation of the news mentioning WalMart says the Commission is factoring the big box stores into their discussions (better considering the economic impact of NFA and their economic impact back) and that WalMart had declined the offer to attend a meeting Thursday but will now send "an appropriate representative".

You can put your pitchforks and torches away until someone actually sees that WalMart is colluding with the Administration to do anything more than sell you all the ARs they can get their hands on.
