Went to my local gunshow (Bakersfield CA) which is held 5-6 times per year here. I missed the last one.
As usual, most firearms were overpriced with a few exceptions. Ammo overall seemed to be plentiful and much lower, but all over the map. Plenty of 380's reasonable (?), $14/50. .45acp seemed really high for 230 ball at $17-$21/50. 9mm's $12/50.
What blew me away was more than one booth selling hi-cap mags for AR's,
M1"s. I didn't, but should have asked how they could legally sell these. They appeared to be functional, not unassembled.
Can someone school me on this?
