I don't know where to post this on THR so here goes. I do not a Blue Book on Gun Values and hope maybe someone here does and will help. I have some Hi Standard guns and trying to determine values so I can sell them. All are early/mid 1960's. These are from family of previous HS executive.

These are NIB w/original boxes and paperwork
1. HS Supermatic Tournament Model 103
2. HS Double Nine Convertible (2-cylinders)
3. HS D-100 Derringer Gold-Plated, w/Presentation Case
4. HS D-100 Derringer-Silver-Plated, w/Presentation Case
5. Also, just FYI - I have a HS Double Nine w/hammered finish and plastic stag horn grips made to resemble guns of the Cisco Kid (never released production so won't be found in books)

These are 99%, shot a few times and in excellent condition.
1. HS Durango Model W-105
2. HS Model C1200, 12 Ga. 28" VR skeet barrel
3. Sears Model 25 (HS Sport King)

Seems like it would be in your best interest to invest the outrageous sum of $34.95 for a one year subscription to the Blue Book since you're planning on selling eight guns. From the limited description you give here, anyone doing the research for you would end up with more questions than answers.

Good morning
I generally go to Gunbroker and see what items are priced for but more importantly what buyers are paying. The book gives a staic price compulated from gunshow prices which is OK but may not really show what real prices are today.

I've personally found Gunbroker to be a poor barometer for the going price of firearms. Over 50% of the listings are at ridiculous prices and many dealers keep re-listing the same guns over and over for months in an attempt to find a sucker. It only takes one uninformed bidder to drive up the selling price on Gunbroker to ludicrous levels.

For example, I've seen Smith & Wesson Model 19's in equivalent condition posted from $300 to as much as $950. I've seen them in 98% condition sell for as much as $650 while I can buy the same gun locally in a number of local GS's for $400.

The online version of Blue Book updates pricing every 90 days and I find those prices to be much more indicative of "real world" values, at least in my area. Selling prices on Gunbroker reflect what the most desperate, uninformed, and frequently drunk at bid closing time buyer is willing to pay.
