Would you be willing to pay $5,000 for a used KelTec?

On the auction block, a used KelTec PF9, starting bid $5,000.

According to its owner, this is your chance challenge Hilary Clintons gun control policy's by bidding on the KelTec that killed Travon Martin. "Your chance to own a piece of American history."

I find this disgusting. :barf:

I wouldn't spend a dime on it, and find the notion repulsive. Personally I don't want any gun that has a death associated with it. IT's bad juju in my book.

I would pay decent money for a vintage S&W or colt police revolver though, knowing full well that it may have a violent history. I have seen old revolvers on Gunbroker with notches purposefully cut into the grips. I tried not to imagine what the tally marks were counting, but it's hard to ignore. I found myself unwilling to bid as a result, for what it represents, and also for the damage to an otherwise nice gun.

People do weird things. Zimmerman is in bad financial shape, so I'm sure he is doing whatever he can to make money. I will not be taking part.

As tacky as it is, it is a piece of history and there is always a market for "The gun that killed <X>" or "The gun that was carried by <X famous killer>"

From GB:
