Seems kinda odd to me. There are too many inconsistencies. Why would some one writing a book reference a serial number in Arabic.

"he purchaser of the pistol will receive a letter written by this individual, on his letterhead, (his name and the name of his book will be revealed to the buyer) to a Texas Judge wherein he details the aforementioned adventure and references his relationship with the King, and also details why he was given the gun (which he references by serial number) and holster. Our Owner, who is also a Judge, obtained the pistol from the Judge to whom the letter was addressed. Obviously, with the provenance, this is an investment-grade historical firearm that belongs in an advanced collection or a museum."

I am not selling this firearm but mods, feel free to lock or remove this thread if it not fit the guidelines.

Thanks,

V.

Just trying to establish the provenance of a firearm. It may not mean much to most of us, but this may mean a lot to someone who holds the King of Jordan in great respect?

For example, I've held a pistol belonging to a Texas Ranger that was valued at ~$50K. Not that I'd pay for it, but somebody obviously placed that much value in that hunk of iron.

For $7,500 you can get an ordinary 1970's HP and a letter written 30 years ago by a dead guy saying the gun was owned by someone moderately famous.

Sounds like a ripoff to me, but mana from heaven for someone who wants to believe it is true.

Dont get me wrong... Its very interesting but its so hard to authenticate something like this. And yes, if I had the cash, I would do it for the history lesson as well.

t is probably legit but insane for the price. I know that since it was (supposedly) King Huessiens that that would be a pedigree of sorts, but not like if it were documented to be John Waynes or James Deans, that is what I think MIGHT make this HiPower worth the asking price, not because it was some King of Jordans gun...
