H&R 686 Cylinder

I just got a H&R 686 .22 with a magnum cylinder. I already posted a WTB ad but i was wondering if anyone knows of a site that would have a LR cylinder for this gun. I enjoy the magnum but want the ability to swap them out.

Usually you'll find at least one table at the bigger gun shows where someone has a pile of random loose cylinders. Alternately, you could try checking out some of the auction sites that have random parts.

Having a .22LR cylinder for a 686 is definitely a good thing.

ok good ideas! I was hoping to get lucky and find somebody with one on here. Like you said it would definitely be a good thing. It's nice to have the cheaper ammo option

I have a 686 for which I would like to have a magnum cylinder. When I inherited it, the lr cylinder was installed and the magnum cylinder nowhere to be found.

Maybe we should do custody. I could do weekends and holidays on the LR?

Joe, i actually tracked one down through a gunbroker salesman. If it is in good shape when i get it i will pass on the info. It was a very good price compared to most i've seen too.
