H110 for 500 S&W.

Is anyone using H110 for this?

Care to share load info for your lightest to heaviest? I see Lil gun, h4227, Alliant unique & 2400 being used. Are these better then H110 or would one of these other be better?

Any idea which makes the best power per load? My 500 is one the way and want to get loading before it gets here. THX.

Consult your manuals or go to Hodgdon's website. Lots of loads in both places for the .500 and H110/W296. IMR4227 will give good performance also, is a little less temperature sensitive, but will not give you the velocities of H110/W296. 2400 did not work well for me in the .460 except in reduced recoil loads. Google "Lil' Gun and forcing cone erosion" and you'll see why most do not use it in revolvers anymore.
