Have you guys seen this? I was reading my American Rifleman last night and saw an ad...go here and have a look http://www.rhoseinc.com/
All I can think is.....why? It consists of a wad soaked in CLP inside a shell. Chamber it and pull the trigger, and the primer propels a string out the barrel. What does this do that a boresnake or mop doesn't? I just found it to be funny and I figured you all might get a kick out of it, too.
What really got me was their ad copy saying how you wouldn't need cleaning rods, etc. any more, and then goes on to say that you must still clean the chamber manually, and that you should "scrape the bore with a coat hanger if you have plastic fouling". It always seemed to me that having a clean action is FAR more important than the barrel when it comes to shotguns anyway.
