Another buddy told me that was a good book, too. I may have to get one.

What do you like about it?

I agree! I miss his old "Pet Loads" articals in Handloader magazine. He retired a few years ago and we lost a excellent source of data and related handloading info.

Ken Waters "Pet Loads" is the golden standard for a guy like me. That's one single resource that you can go to and get a well rounded picture of what's going with different weights, powders and what not. Too bad he wasn't slinging 7.62X54R lead around because I could sure use that data.

Ken Waters has a short blurb about the Camp Fire Club in the new issue of Handloader. Now 90, he still has the same clear writing style. Likely he had to retire from extensive handload tests due to aging eyes and joints.

One thing that surprised me was how much more information is in the whole Handloader magazine then in Pet loads. If you reload a lot, seriously consider buying the DVD set of Handloader. I found it invaluable!
