For all you ladies that resize new brass I want to know something. When you buy a new box of ammo, do you resize that as well?
Unloaded brass vs loaded brass. How does that compare? Well......it doesn't, obviously.

I like to size new brass as well. For those who don't, I won't call you any names or say you are wrong, just that I do it differently.

New ammo is for real he-men
That was a good one Rusty... :)

I haven't bought a new box of ammo in at least 7 years and that was 22lr and shot shell.

That reminds me, I need to get some 22lr.

Wow, such a High Road reply. Don't know how to answer such a ridiculously loaded question. (pun not intended lol)

Maybe he means with a FCD? But it would be limited to pistol ammo....

Depends on the Venue

If a round misfires/misfeeds/jams at the range, you address the problem as required. If it does it in a tactical/*** situation, you take immediate action if you live, or pull your pistol & pray.

Factory loads should be de riguer in goblin control (the Colonel would insist), but if you must reload, full length resizing will minimize the *** probability.

Otherwise, it's just academics at the range... ;)

I like to do it this way.
Size all the brass in a small base die.
Trim, debur, both inside and out, then true the inside of the flash hole. This is were I, would weigh them if I were that fanatical. load, then tumbal. Finally enjoy.
