Has any one ordered parts here?

I have an original '48 colt baby thats been in the family since the gold rush. Broken hand was keeping the cylinder from turning. I Ordered a hand from them and they sent me a Italian made hand. I can understand that there is not a supply of 170 YO Colt parts in a warehouse somewhere but the part wasnt even close to the original. I made it fit but there was hours of hand filing and working it to make it fit. They are not the same.

That's what I kind of figured. They would simply send you an Italian part with a serious mark-up on it. I just bought a Second Generation 'C' Series 51 Navy and before shooting it wanted to know if this is a good source for parts if something goes wrong. Better off just using Taylor's or VTI parts as long as they're standard thread I should be fine.

For example, hand and spring assembly $29.50, wedge $30.50

At Taylor's, hand and spring assembly $14.25, wedge $18.00.

Quite a difference.

Uberti parts from VTI or Taylors are what you want to keep your C series going.

Easy peasy. All four of my main match CAS guns have had a new Hand/Spring assy changed at one point or another in the last 10+ years of use. Have also changed some main springs, a couple wedges, a loading lever and a trigger/bolt spring with no problem.
