I think...
that you are a little misinformed... notice how he had an perfect A+ rating for years, selling to thousands and thousands of customers, then suddenly fell off of the Earth?
...seems as if he got raided by the US Attorney's General Office via the local police department, and I have heard rumors of FBI and BATFE involvement as well.
The local paper had a small article about it on the 5th, I believe the raid (search warrant service) took place during the evening hours of the 4th. The paper failed to mention any charges, only that boxes of gun parts were being hauled out by authorities.
I know he sold quite a few lowers, and he didnt have an FFL, but Im not sure as how thats a crime... people sell guns on gunbroker everyday without an FFL. IF they were his personal property, then I suppose he was jumping through the loophole.. of course we all know how PRO GUN our current government is... they'd never attempt a case on something so thin, right?!?!
Im not entirely sure of why the raid too place, I noticed that he sold alot of full auto fire control groups, but again, Im not sure if thats actually illegal or not... all of those areas are kind of gray. One minute, you CAN own and possess them, the next minute (i.e. someone gets a burr up their rear) they call it 'intent to manufacturer' and kick in your door. ...kind of like saying having beer in your fridge and a car in your driveway is having intent to drive drunk.
So does anyone know any specifics?
