I have a silver body red-dot sight. I'm going to buy a 9MM Storm and I think the sight might look better on a *blue Storm. In some pictures, what is being called "blue", in fact looks gray. I'd like that. Dark gray would look nice with my sight. So, how about it? Has anyone seen one "in the flesh" as it were?

Thanks,
KR

jem375...

I expected one of you excellent and useful comments. Aren't you getting a bit weary of saying the same thing over & over? Those of us who *LIKE* the little Beretta carbine and have made plans for it have repeatedly asked you that if you don't like the Beretta Storm and you wouldn't be caught *dead with one, to not read the posts regarding Storms. However, you do anyway. Then, you simply DAZZLE us with your wit or even the little "Throw-Up" icon.
I plan to keep mine behind the seat of the plane. It's going to replace my Marlin "Papoose" for a little more firepower in case I'm forced down a hundred miles from nowhere again. Well jem, that's MY reason for wanting a short, light, 9MM Storm. What's YOUR reason for leaving the same tired post over & over & over & over, ad nauseam?
Get a life--will ya'? And let the people who want Storms--GET THEM. Different firearms please DIFFERENT PEOPLE. Surely, you can understand that.

Kentuck.......you did see the ...jk.......didn't you???....that means just kidding..................where are you flying?.......Alaska or Kentucky?...

Artherd: Nah, I couldn't sell the "Papoose". My wife simply LOVES it. Do you like the Marlin Papoose? It's a great little take-down rifle. Synthetic, non-hollow stock, stainless barrel, 3.25 pounds. (No foolin"! Three and a quarter pounds!)~all in a little soft case that FLOATS. I've got three or four spare mags and a couple hundred rounds of ammunition in my flight bag. (A change of socks and skivies, too. :) ) I like to sit back at Ft. Knox and listen to the wife "punch paper". The Stingers sound just like bees when they go down range. BZZZZzzzzzWHACK! :)

Jem & Artherd: Alaska, Kentucky, Texas.
Makes no difference. Also the plane makes little difference. I've got hours in so many types, it's hard to find one with which I can't make do. Flying for 40+ years now. Started when I was 13 and soloed on my 16th birthday. I do have a preference for the A-36 Bonanza. It's fast, & more importantly has these double doors in the side. Take out four seats and there's a LOT of room. I need the room. See, sometimes I do this small thing for grieving families. Only Oleg knows the story on that and I'd just as soon not talk about it. You know--people's private grief and all. ~Except jets. I can't fly a jet. (Well, maybe I could. I just never tried one on.) That's all C.R. Sam's territory. He's got that certain blend of "skill & luck". (Pilots will know what I mean here.) I'll ask him. If he gives me permission (big "IF"), I'll tell you some of his adventures. "Chuck Yeager, Bob Hoover, Bud Anderson, C.R. Sam". They've all got that fighter pilot "blend" and mentality. I'm just an old pilot who got in on the last of "the golden age" of flying.<shrug>
