Has anyone tried to put a 1903 springfield

rear sight on a buffington site base?
Or does anyone know where I can get a 1903 springfield sight collar ( not sure if that is the proper name for the part or not) that I can cut off the sight base from and adapt it to fit a zouave rifle barrel?

Well, aside from the obvious Numrich and Sarco, I would try Amherst Depot and Dupage Trading. They both have a lot of stuff not on the website, so a phone call is best. Both are nice guys, but be patient with them as they work and ship on their own time. Ill bet one has what you need, though. Good luck!
