I built my wife's two Springfield Stainless 1911 9mm. She presents me with an empty ammo can and says" More Please". Her go to load is 147 grain plated bullets over 3.2 of Titegroup, they pass chrono at IDPA sanctioned matches.
My wife likes to shoot handguns, but not rifles so much. She prefers my handloads, so she supports my reloading hobby. She pays for the projectiles, and I pay for the powder, primers, and reloading equipment (out of the allowance she gives me).
My wife has helped me sort bras and box loaded rounds over the years. She understands the reloading process but has not done it at all. She and I competed all over the US in USPSA matches and she has all her own top of the line gear. I don't think she has ever shot a factory round in any of here guns. She just expects them to run good and be accurate and so far I've never let her down. She does buy me reloading gear for XMAS when I let her know what I need/want and she is quick to tell me to buy what I want. Of course she has a sewing room that would put most of us to shame for the $$'s spent but that's a whole different addiction.
