So for you that own a SR9 or have owned a SR9 have you had problems with it? If so what kind of problems?
 
Other than the recall they had when they were first released.......

none.

Im not sure the recall was entirely necessary either. More like a CYA thing.
 
aside from gritty triggers, sticky mag releases, and barrel peening they have no problems! ;)

If you don't have any of those issues, they're great!
 
For you guys that have had barrel peening issues did it cause the gun to malfunction any or did you just send it in because you saw the barrel peening?
 
i fired a friend's sr9 the other day. that thing had the most bizarre and unintuitive trigger of any striker fired pistol i have shot. the pull was very heavy, & it had already been lightened by ruger too after my friend called them to complain.

accuracy was barely average.
 
Absolutely no issues. The trigger has really smooded out with use and it eats anything. I am anxious to try the Goast trigger kit when.............it finally comes out. I love my SR9.
 
i loved the feel of the gun and it gave me no performance issues, but the peening started to happen after about 1000 rounds.

I traded it toward a .45 since I needed a potent and compact CCW.
 
My SR-9 ran perfectly; traded for a Browning Hi-Power and never looked back. Once I put that Browning in my hand it was all over.
