Hawkeye Rings

Hunting for a scope for a recently purchased Hawkeye. The rings that are included say High and Medium (one for the back/front)

Can I get buy with a low/medium for a 40mm objective lens? Prefer to keep the scope as low as possible and don't have a free scope to try out on the gun right now with the rings that came with it.

Probably will work. I "think" Ruiger will let you send them your high ring and repalce it for a low ring at no cost. They used to do this, not sure if they still do. Just use the medium on the rear and new low on the front.

I have a 3-9X40 mm Nikon Buckmaster on mine with this set up. It is a close fit, but I like mine as low as possible as well.

Thanks, now that you mention it I remember Ruger doing this as well. I'll have to look into it.

My father just picked up his Ruger Hawkeye and I will be doing the same thing for him. He is buying a Nikon Team Primos which is a 40mm objective and I think it should work. Might as well get the scope as low as you can. The rings seem decent enough I hear people say they are crap but I don't know they appear to be decent quality.
