Buds sets their prices almost as frequently as a gas station. Prices go up, prices go down - its all in what they can get from their distributors. I wouldn't worry too much.
To put it into perspective, I bought my first handgun nearly 10 years ago. Was a P95 that I got for around $325. It was also about the only decent handgun I could find at that price range (good, because I couldn't have afforded any more at the time
). Today they sell for not only that much or a little less, but there are also numerous options in the $300-400 range from Ruger, S&W, SIG, Kahr, Kel-tec, etc.
As odd as it may sound, to some degree we're living in the golden age of firearms. Back in the day people worrried about being able to afford
A gun. Now we're worried that a small fluctuation here or there will impact our ability to get certain guns.
I'm right there with ya (if I could I'd love to be able to get an example of every general model of duty-sized 9mm ever made), but the sky ain't falling quite yet
