Heard crime stats on the radio...

I was listening to the radio on my way home yesterday in Phoenix rush-hour traffic. The issue was that, statistically, Illegal Aliens do not commit crimes at a higher rate than legal citizens. Approximately 10% of the individuals in county jail are illegal and that is proportionate with the general population. I.E. 10% of Phoenix metro is illegal.

Am I the only one that sees the disconnect here?
If the illegal aliens were not here, 10% of our crime would dissappear and at least two Police Officers would not have been shot last year! :banghead: By the way, isn't it illegal for non citizens to possess a firearm AND to shoot LEO's? :banghead::banghead:

And this was aired on a conservative radio station without rebuttal or commentary!

Personally, I'd rather have the LEO's in perfect health than cheap illegal laborers trimming the HOA's bushes...

Technically speaking, the crime rate of illegal immigrants is 100%, as they're already commiting a crime by immigrating illegally.

Absolutely correct Shadowangel! It is a damn shame that most people just don't get that. The college my wife goes to makes the students sign a statement of honesty and if they are found to have broken the college 'honor code' they are automatically and immediately suspended. The President of the school has said they are going to accept illegals at in-state tuition rates. I wonder if they will have to sign the honesty statement?

Find out how many Americans commit crimes, per 100,000.
Then, find out how many illegals commit crimes per 100,000,
and when you make the comparison you will have something a little bit meaningful since it's been prorated to a 100,000 base figure.
Then send in the result to Geraldo Rivera, who believes that when illegals murder someone here, it isn't an issue.
