Hello all. MOpops here from SWMO. An aquaintance on another forum suggested that I might find some information about a revolver purchase.
I bought an Iver Johnson .32 breaktop from a friend today. The action is super tight, and the gun shows little if any evidence of firing.
I'm not sure what model it is. It is a hammerless double action breaktop, and the closest thing I can find is perhaps a hammerless Safety Automatic Double-Action. The caliber is not marked, but I believe it to be a .32 short. Barrel length is 2 15/16". My Big Book 'o Gunsnstuff only shows a 2.5, 4.5, and 6" barrel for this model, so I'm probably wrong there. The SN is 531xx.

I'm not sure how to post pics yet, but I'll keep trying.
Any info would be appreciated.
Thank you.

Take off the grips and on the left side of the frame you will find the full serial number with (probably) a letter prefix. With that information, the gun can be dated.

Thanks Jim. The letter designation is an O. The entire number is O 53128.
I appreciate your help. Do you know what model it is?
