I'm selling the following and want to come up with prices. All of the following I've had for less than 9 months and are in excellent condition.

Walther P99 (9MM);
CZ97 (.45); and
Bersa Mini-Thunder (.40)

What's a fair asking price for each? I don't use them, bought them all on a whim. I'm going to stream line my collection for pistols that I actually use.

I sell the Walther for about $375-$400, and the Bersa for $250-$300, depending on condition of each. I'd keep that CZ, though. It's built like a tank, and seems like the perfect platform for launching some .45 Super, which should make for fun range days along with that 10mm you're looking to buy soon. ;)

If I were in the market to buy those guns, I would want to get a deal on them. If I were buying FTF, I would give a little more cash because I wouldn't have to pay for shipping or FFL. So, depending on if you are selling them FTF or are going to ship them, the price would be a little different.

If I saw a nice P99 in 9mm, I might pay as much as $400 but probably not much more.

For the CZ, I think I would $375-400.

The Bersa is worth $250 give or take.

I could see you making at least $1000 on the three guns if not more. If you can take more of a loss, you could sell them for less and probably sell them quicker.

Basic gun math is
typical selling price NIB
used = 80% of NIB
cash trade value at a gunstore = 66% of used

example
cz-97
NIB 500.00
Used = 400.00
trade value = 270.00

I just sold my 97b glossy with 6 mags, and flgr with spare springs for $600. That was about 2 weeks ago and I think the guy got a darn good deal.

The Local Rip Off store in charlotte's formula is this agree on condition, base value out of gun blue book and offer ya 70% of value example.Springfield armory SS loaded 100 percent 675.00 -30% =472.50! :what:

I bet I know the rip-off store to which you refer...They also go the other way on new pistols...example...NIB blue Gold Cup, MSRP now 1300 with Colts wonderfully fair recent price increase...Rip-off stores price ?...1399.99$...I guess thats proving gun stores are not friendly to gun owners!
