Help---identfy a old precussion muzzleloader

I have a old rifle,has been in the family for at least 70 + yrs.
maker appears to be S.H.Ward, Jamestown NC. brass butplate, and patch-box, 36 cal. (i think). Not a long rifel,more like a hawken style.:D
 
Look for a Bean or Poor BOy rifle for starters, maybe even an Applachain too. From your dexcription I'm thinking half-stock. Pictures are real handy.
