Help me with RIA 1911 .45ACP

Once I replaced the recoil spring with a Woff 17.5lb spring, both my RIA's have been great. In fact, they're almost boring, they just work.

Now if my damn EMP would cooperate.

Thank you all for the replies. I do, indeed believe I'll be picking up a RIA. I appologize for not responding sooner but I forgot to post that I was headed to Walt Disney World for 2 weeks. I'm back and utterly exhausted. I need to get back to work to get some rest!

Reading your posts I've become interested in RIA, I specially like the Tactical model. I'm fond of slanted fore and aft slide "notches" as well as. Does anybody know what can a gunsmith do to these slides if they have the vertical notches?
