Help. Need Info On a Springfield

What info is needed? It's a black stainless model with most/all the upgrades people usually feel they need (Commander hammer, beavertail, light trigger, front serrations, etc.). SA has a lifetime warranty regardless of owner ... $300 is the price for a used Rock Island ... for this particular gun, or anything vaguely close, it's essentially theft.

$300 is a good price IMO.
The worst that could happen with other manufacturer is that it is a lemmon and she would have to sell off the receiver and remiaining good parts for a few hundred bucks to recoup the loss.
The best that could happen -which is the most likely- is that she gets a used Springfield cheaper than what she would pay for it in much of the country in a shop.

Agreed. I'd put up with the funky color scheme to get a decent gun under half price.

But that is all it is, a Springfield Loaded with funky color scheme, no difference in the operation or shooting to any other Springfield Loaded.

I just bought this exact model pistol and I promise you it was far more than $300 and I still got a good deal (see the .45 pictures thread in the Handguns: General Forum).

"Hey, Unck, I'll give ya $305 for it...."

That is one seriously good deal. If it has problems, Springfield WILL make it right.

Run, don't walk, and get it. There were two Black Stainless models made; both were "loaded" models; I think the only significant difference was that one had adjustable target sights and the other had Novak night sights; one (don't remember which) came in a special wood box.

$300 for that thing would have me wanting to buy the seller lunch as well; dude must be hard up for cash to sell it that low (provided it works fine).

it's still $300. If you don't have the money, you don't have the money.

I had the worst trouble selling off a glock 21 with 400 corbon match barrel (as well as the original 45acp barrel) and 10 high capacity magazines for $400 recently. Everyone I talked to said "hell of a deal, but I don't have $400 to spare"

then again, lots of folks asked me why I was selling something with so much stuff added to it for so cheap. I just told them "no matter how much money you put into it, it's still a glock and still feels and shoots like a glock."

Looks like a good deal to me..even if you don't like it, you should be able to get your money back if you decide to sell it :D
