HELP! Stud Failure?

Okay, so I got a wild hair up my butt and decided to jerk on the sling stud VIOLENTLY, basically throwing the gun towards the floor as hard as I possibly could and jerking up HARD on the stud with all my strength.

It’s still rock solid and didn’t t budge a millimeter.

It’s probably far from cosmetically perfect, but this is a defensive working tool and it appears to be more than strong enough.

At least it's centered and there's plenty of wood left to support most any kind of stress you might put on it. The grain on the stock and the clean installation of the recoil pad are very aesthetically pleasing to the eye.

It’s got to be about the purdiest stock I’ve seen on a Mossberg 500 perhaps ever. Love this shotgun!

The danger would be the toe breaking from dropping or hitting the gun on the toe. The recoil pad prevents that happening.

What year and model is that one? Seems the newer ones have the studs already. Simply curious.
