While out squirrel hunting I came across a campsite where someone had been shooting lots of .223 and 9mm, easy to tell as they left a real mess. Anyway the 9mm cases looked to be aluminum bottom and blue plastic sides. I did not see any markings on the bottom of the cases. Any idea on what type of ammo these are? Curious as I could not find anything about them.

Not really sure about blue plastic sides... but what first came to my mind was the CCI pistol shotshell cartridges.

The only poly cased stuff i've seen is PCA spectrum 5.56x45. Maybe they've started making 9mm? Do you know what the headstamp was?
