"It is blatantly obvious that you have never inspected a High Standard revolver from this era."

Yep.
I don't think that even one single specimen is in Europe:))

"Arminus didn't have. And that is QUALITY workmanship."

Today they make some quite good guns such as the HW9 line.

I've handled an Arminius from 1970. The blueing on the steel cylinder, trigger and hammer is quite good. The zinc frame is painted, and this wears off easily.

"The fact is that Arminius did NOT make High Standard guns, they just tried to COPY High Standard Guns.
Believe what you want though, why let facts get in the way."

I don't know who was the first with this construction/design. But there are too many common features to be suspicious.

Just picked up a Hi-Standard "R-101" Sentinel (.22 LR) at a local show; talked the dealer down 'cause we both thought the ejector return spring was broken, and reviewing these old High Road has educated me (the early editions had no such spring . . .).

Mine's the snubbie with the rounded grip frame; hope it shoots as good as it looks!
