I need input, I want to get a suppressor this year and thought hey if it is going to take six months I might as well get two. So here is what I was have, let me know you guys think.

I want one for a 22 pistol and one for a 9mm. I have a Walther p22 or am I better off just planing to buy a Ruger MKIII, I also have a bunch of Beretta 22's but none with threaded barrels as well as 10/22s.

I have a Sig 239 9mm with a threaded barrel. I also have XDs, Berettas, Glocks, Walthers and H&K 9s but none with threads. I know I can get threaded barrels for them but are all threads the same?

Or would I be better off trading one of those two for either a AR-15 or 45 cal suppressor?

Last what brands to get, I do not need top of the line, but I do not want junk either so what is the best buy, not the cheapest, the best buy?

Silencerco is your answer.

The Sparrow is good for. 22, .22mag, 17HMR, and 5.7. Take apart can for cleaning.

Osprey in. 45. They sell different adapters for different calibers. (9mm,.40, and. 45) it will ne the last centerfire pistol can you buy. Unless you want two, then you will buy another.

That is exactly what I did, and added in a Gemtech HVT in .308 to use on .223 as well.

Got the Osprey and it's great, use it on my FNP 45 "Tactical" and Glock 17L with Lone Wolf threaded barrel.

Still waiting on the Sparrow and Gemtech, had hoped to have them by Xmas, but the waits have gotten much longer.

The Liberty Mystic will suppress 9mm, 5.56, and .22lr. Since it's a monocore takedown can, you can clean it relatively easily. For a one can does most kind of suppressor, this would be be a GREAT can for want to do.

I did the same thing last year. After weeks of research i went with an swr spectre for my 10/22 and an swr trident for my lone wolf g9.

The swrs are right up there with silencerco (they are actually the same company now).

Another option is swrs new octane. It's threaded for 1/2-28 and it's a take down can. It was intended to be used for 9 and .22 and still be able to be cleaned after running .22 through it.

Right now, the Octane is the ONLY option from SWR. The Trident was discontinued this year.

Thanks for the help, it gives me a good starting point. I hope to make the purchase in a couple of weeks, then prepare for a long wait.
