:what:I bought a Rifle Basix sear for my Ruger 77 RSI (Tang model.) I CANNOT remove the stock from the barreled action. I removed the floorplate, trigger guard, ect. ect. I took the small screw from the stock/mannlicher metal tip... The stock acts like it wants to pull from the action, however a spur on the rear of the trigger prevents that from happening and is overtop the wood about 1/8th of an inch. The foreend tip will not allow the gun to slide more than 1/8-1/4 of an inch front to back to get over the trigger spur to pull the stock down. There has to be something Im missing here. THe problem seems to be coming from the forend tip.

THanks,
Joe

Can you get the metal Mannlicher forend tip to slide foreword off the stock after taking the screw out? It probably has to come off before the action will clear.

Thanks!

worked great... evidentally, the forarm tip (metal) was somewhat seized to the wood, probably from never having been removed since assembly, but thanks, worked great.
