yes that's right, my life long friend and fellow THR
member CAPBUSTER gave me a Dillon .45
ACP case length gague to check my handloads
with. Friends, I see this as a very useful
tool; to make sure that my handloads are near
PERFECT, before entering
the chamber of my beloved West German (1995)
.45 ACP caliber SIG-SAUER P220A.

I'm here to tell you, that is a real nice gift that
will see service real soon! :uhoh: :D Many thanks
to my ole' friend Cliff*.

Good gift!

I wonder tho ... maybe not quite as sophisticated but ... my Lee case trimmer set up does allow for a quick check too. Just place in deprimed case and give a spin - or two!

I guess the one thought I have with this device is ...... consistency (or not) between different case manufacturer's dimensions, seeing as it works from inside of flash hole to case mouth. so far tho - it has served me well ...... same for all cals.

However ...

I am being pedantic and rambling as usual (befitting of my age!!) .... welcome gift Ala Dan .... where headspacing concerned ... well worth being fastidious.:)

I also have the Lee trimmer. Although I have tried, haven't trimmed anything off, yet. As I think I understand it, because of loading (seating on the rim) and recoil, auto loader casings (pistol), if anything, have a propensity to become shorter, not longer. This correct?
