I use my "cheap-guy" chronograph/pressure test mechanism all the time and it has worked like a charm every time.
In my reloading manuals is a column that states maximum charge and minimum charge data. I stay somewheres in the middle of those two numbers and VOILA! NO pressure issues. lol
I never venture into the stereotypical "Here, hold my beer and watch this" scenarios that seem to often end poorly for the particpant.
Short of owning that megabucks pressure test device, manufacturer pressure specs have little purposeful meaning to the average shooter/reloader who can't measure them.
