AH ! It's in the revolver section - a truely rare 9mm revolving auto with extra magazines . (or is it clips ?) I'm headed for my penny jar !

Thanks for the heads up guys, I've been looking for one of these. Now I just have to go through the stupid ten day waiting period.

Nah just kidding :p

Makes you wonder

I wonder what my double stack SV Infinity would be worth there... nothing or lots?

Can the race gun people even transfer magazines?

Lastly, would Grandpa be committing a felony traveling through CA with his 15 round Beretta in his RV?

Whatever happened to equal protection?

If the seller, J&S Wholesale, is a CA FFL he can't sell it in that state because it's not on the approved list. He seems to think he can get $1,100 for it. Maybe he will... but not from me. I paid $190 for mine in blue and passed on one in nickel recently at $235. This one is in a little better shape but it ain't five times better!

It might be that the gun is a consignment sale. I've bought from dealers who advertise unapproved guns on gunsamerica but were customer's guns. Old Sacramento Armory sells guns like that.

In that case, they tend to ask premium prices because Kalifornicate is a different market.

:banghead:

There a way around some of the prohibition

The bad news is, it involves moving to California. A new state resident can bring in any guns he currently owns, as long as they are not prohibited by name (AKs, ARs :banghead: ), aren't in any other prohibited class, and as long as no mags over ten rounds accompany them.

So if you are going to move here, peruse the list of guns not otherwise sold here, like the little Zastava, that aren't approved but also not C&R-and buy TEN OF THEM. Sold on consignment through an FFL for two or three times what they sell for elsewhere, you could support yourself for a while.

The ammo registration is the line in the sand, though; if it passes, I'm moving.
