Thanks for not posting a clickable link.

Thanks for complaining about no clickable link in the OP - and then not bothering to post one yourself.

That's OK...I can cut and past too. Found it - voted. Gun rights supporters are winning by a large margin. I have a sneaking hunch that we're the only ones who care enough to bother to vote on these polls. I guess that in itself says something, though

Reasonable people are way ahead.

26,000 + responses is far more than I would have guessed - that is a pretty large sample size for any poll.

You can see, however, that the majority of people responding are gun owners. I don't know what the numbers of gun owners are in the population - but I don't think they are anywhere near 73%.

So what does this poll tell us? It tells us that gun owners who read gun forums vote in polls about gun rights.

Need I say it?...that not posting a link is deliberate to insure that the results of the poll are not automatically prejudiced by the pollsters who can trace back where the voters originated if they did click on a link... Not posting a link makes you cut and paste the url and leaves the source of the referral anonymous.

Good point. I actually thought about saying I didn't own, but I was honest instead.

I guess the next dot-com billionaire will be the one that implements net-wide sarcasm/anti-sarcasm flags. Yes, my thanks was in reference to not providing a clickable URL that can be traced back to this forum. It was not sarcasm.

However jakk280rem has posted a direct, clickable link. The subsequent votes can now be directly traced to THR now if people are too lazy to ctrl+c/v, [sarcasm] thanks  [/sarcasm]

Mea culpa...I did not know that...my bad!

Perhaps jakk280rem should go back and edit the link out of his post?

Ok...I must be dense but I can get to this page but it won't let me vote...
