HK 45 seen in SGN

I am fairly excited about this gun. There is a picture of it posted on AR15.com and it is due out later this year or early 2007 from what I read on the thread.

Can anyone ID the exact magazine these pictures are in? It appears to be SGN and I would like to buy a copy. Has anyone actually seen this article?

I haven't seen the article, but the posters on HKpro mention the current issue of Shotgun News, as well. I like the looks of the compact version, but the full-sized version carries two rounds less than my USP and has many more "snag points." I'd prefer the black frame...even if it there is a legitimate reason for using the dirt brown frames.

I guess those rumors of a HK 1911 were a little premature I saw the article in the current Shotgun News. Might be worth looking into...I kinda like the compact LEM myself

Not even HK can make 1911 reliable.
Why make something that is not guaranteed to be reliable when you can make something that would work?

It would be sweet to get an HK .45 which actually fits. I like the USPs (USP .40 is probably my overall favorite pistol), but the USP .45 is just too blocky for my hands.
