HK91/PTR-91 lowers

Trying to set up a recently aquired PTR-91 to be more like the old school G3 rifles with a wood stock kit and leather sling. It came with the "Navy" style one piece plastic lower which I would like to replace with a metal lower that can have different type grips screwed on. I just can't seem to find anyplace that sells the metal lowers that will fit a PTR, only ones I have found are for NFA only and I don't want to get into any murky legal areas. Any suggestions? Am I nuts for wanting to swap it out?

Both the site given by Monkeybear and this one can help you find a clipped an pinned lower receiver that will work with your rifle. It goes without saying that compliance with 922r and the foreign parts count on your rifle should be foremost in your mind when buying these sorts of things.
