Hogue Handall type grip for my Ruger 22/45????

I have been to rimfire forums, I have been to all the subforums of other gun boards and no one can answer my question:banghead: . I need "highroad" help.


I bought a new Ruger mk3 22/45 and it is not possible to take the stock grips off due to the fact that there are no grip screws, nor are the grips suppose to come off (although I have seen quite a few people some how rip them off and install 1911 grips by gluing them on).

I want to put a hogue handall(finger grooves) type grip on my ruger, but I cant seem to find which hogue grip will fit correctly on my ruger.

Please advise.......

well take it to a smith have him grind off the "grips" drill a few holes 4, then buy some 1911 hogues and it should work.... for a cheaper alternative would be to buy the slip on but if its not thick enough put some shims under the slipon

Use the Large and its still a bear to get it on there---but once you do the results are pleasing.

So I guess just get the full size that fits the Glock 17?
