The 1076 I bought came in a couple days ago. If the rain clears, I'm going to shoot it today:

With its "big brother", the 1006:

Given that it is reliable and accurate, I would like to carry it sometimes. I currently carry a Sig 226/.40, so the manual of arms is pretty much the same.

I use a Comp-tac Ghurka for my 226. I was going to get one for the 1076 as well, but looking at their website, it doesn't look like they make holsters for any S&W autos at all. Can anyone recommend a similar holster from another maker? Requirements are: Left hand, IWB, and no retention strap/thumb break. I like the retention on the Ghurka, where the gun sort of "snaps in place" and is secure, yet no extra action has to be taken for a draw.

Thanks for any help.

Milt Sparks Versa Max 2 or Summer Special. You will never go back to another holster for concealed carry. But, you may need to wait about 3 months to get it delivered.

Call Craig or Audrey at Lightning Arms - (503) 643-8198 - they are one of the few companies that stock Milt Sparks holsters. I bought a VM2 for my Sig P239 from them and they had holster, mag pouch, and a belt sturdy enough to carry them on hand already. It was a little more expensive than ordering direct from Milt Sparks, but I had my stuff within a week. Even if they don't have a 1076 holster in stock, I'd bet that they can get one out of Milt Sparks faster than you can.

options??? Did you say OPTIONS?? :what:

I second giving Lightning arms a buzz...

1076 just isnt that popular...Smaller holster makers can only afford to carry what is the most popular...Calling one of the big guy's is your best bet for a weapon of this type...

Haugen Gunleather is also good choice
