This gun is somewhat off the beaten path. Any suggestions for companies making IWB, OWB or even Uncle Mikes types that fit? Would a holster be the same as a round trigger guard model 84 or 87?

A GUN FOR SPECIAL NEEDS SHOOTERS, TOO
"For those with finger and grip strength issues, such as senior citizens who may have hand strength issues, issues due to natural muscular weakening or medical issues like arthritis [the Beretta 86 can be of great help]..."

".380 ACP is ideal for a certain type of shooter -- one who only wants to use this gun for defense, doesn't intend to compete, andwill actually enjoy shooting a mild recoiling weapon with a low level of blast or flash. This shooter will be much better served with a .380..."

"Are there any downsides to the Cheetah? One... is the fact that there isn't exactly an abundance of leather for it. ...I obtained one of Gould & Goodrich's Yaqui Slide Paddle holsters. This... was a perfect fit. I also found that the non-descript fanny packs designed for medium to large frame autoloaders will also work

I use a bianchi #19L for my model 84.

On the holster it has #19L Beretta M84" right on it.

I got it from midway - just search the web and you'll find their site - it's awesome.

My most recent rig was for as ruger vaquero - it was made by Bob Mernickle and is awesome. He has some holsters and set-ups for about any gun you want. Plus, he's easy to talk too so you may want to check him out too.

Mernickle=master craftsman

I would carry his products into harms way without a second thought...

Just my .02 pesos

The Model 86 Beretta seems to be quite different than the 84 or 85. The 86 has a round trigger guard and the others have square.
Leaky Waders is your triggerguard square?

I'm really striking out at the holster web sites. None list the 86

Try that link if it works...check the 19L and hit the link that shows what other models fit it...

Like others have already said...the browning bda is the same pistol as one of the berettas, except that the brownings slide is closed.

I check the browning USA website...didn't see the bda anymore. But, if you search the net, you'll see a picture I'm pretty sure very easily.

Like I said, I have the biancho holster pictured above...but after buying a mernickle rig for my vaquero I'd prolly go with him for now on - nice product and excellent service.

Here's his link: http://www.mernickleholsters.com/

Also, I shop alot online at midwayusa.com - you can search them for lots of gear.

Hope this helps,
