Cylinder bore. No choke is needed at HD distances, but if you want you could always pattern your shotgun with your load of choice with different chokes to see which one patterns best at whatever range you decide. Measure out the farthest line of sight inside your home, probably not more than 20 yards, and see what choke gives you the tightest pattern.
You still want all pellets to hit the target at that range, and even with a cylinder bore you should still probably be fine. Also, #1 buckshot is a superb home defense load and you chose well!
Whatever the gun patterns best with. "Patterns best" will of course mean different things to different people.
In some 40 years of trying, I have yet to find a barrel/choke tube that will pattern #1 better than 00, or even acceptably (for me). So I still shoot 00, when buckshot is called for.
Of course, I am one who prefers tight patterns to a larger number of smaller pellets. Give me a full velocity load of #1 that patterns well, and I might well change my mind however . The current FliteControl load of #1 from Federal is, unfortunately, a reduced recoil (reduced velocity) load, and I'm not willing to make that tradeoff for serious use.
